Greetings everyone!! Well it’s the Oscars have passed and everyone is still buzzing with all the glitz and glamour from the red carpet. As always, Hollywood’s brightest came with their A-game and didn’t disappoint. There were of course were some misses but I want to cover the hits because they definitely deserve the shine.
One of the first looks of the night to catch my eye was new comer Margot Robbie. The actress wore a full length black Saint Laurent dress with long sheer sleeves and a deep neckline which was filled with a vintage Van Cleef Arpels necklace. It was very sultry look that was complete good bob and a nice rouge on the lip.

New mommy, Zoe Salanda, stepped out showing off her new curves in a beautiful pink Atelier Versace gown. With her hair loosely pulled back hair and a darling diamond necklace, Saldana lit up the internet with her glowing look.

Invited guess DJ, Solange Knowles, made an appearance with a Christian Siriano ensemble that included red, wide leg pants and a matching floor length turtleneck. She showed up staying true to her personal style while also staying red carpet ready.

At last years Oscar show, the girl of the night was Supporting Actress winner, Lupita Nyong’o. She dazzled at every red carpet event that award season and on Oscar night, she amazed us all with a beautiful blue Prada gown. This year we were all waiting to see what she had in store. She of course didn’t disappoint with her pearl-embellished Calvin Klein Collection gown. Not many can pull off this form fitting haltered number, but leave it to our girl Lupita to get the job done.

Sometimes being subtle can go a long way. I thought nominated actress Reese Witherspoon accomplished this task with her black & white Tom Ford gown. You can’t go wrong with the concepts of this item: off the shoulder, fitted waist, color concept. Reese really won with this one. There wasn’t a lot of talk about, but I really enjoyed this look.

Last, but most certanily not least, La Lopez. Yes!! That’s right, the winner on almost every fashion list is the can’t do no fashion wrong, Jennifer Lopez. Heads began to turn as Lopez and her Elie Saab champagne colored gown floated down the red carpet like a princess. Lopez played it smart by letting the dress speak for itself with a ponytail, minimal jewelry and soft makeup. Who needs all the extras when you have a gown like this?!?!
